The Grifton Museum is planning for our annual John Lawson Legacy Days event which will be held on October 20th and 21st. John Lawson Legacy Days is about celebrating pioneer heritage. We will travel back in time and experience life as it was during different eras of our local history. There will be history presentations, demonstrations, cannon firing, rope making, kids games, lots of storytelling, and the list goes on and on. The Beaufort Pirate Invasion will be on-site and Tuscarora Indians will also be present.
This is a free, family-friendly event. Food will also be available for purchase. Come and spend the day with us immersed in history.
