Episode Fifty-Six 6/12 21:50- John St Clair spoke with us about his book, “Branden’s Choice” .. a very personal book to him as John’s son, took his own life due to bullying. John has now made it his mission to connect with others & implement strategies to try to make sure this doesn’t keep happening. Episode Forty-Seven 3/20 8:28- Local mom & former member of our radio family, Brittany Cass has a positivity movement called #BoldLikeBritt where people run & walk miles. She’s a pilot’s wife- she has 3 small children- she was hit by a drunk driver.. and after being life-flighted to Vidant has had numerous surgeries… She will have at minimum a 12-18 month recovery .. and that’s for walking and getting back to any sort of normal life. She is currently still in a wheelchair and unable to bear any weight. She had set a personal goal of over 2000 miles to run this year. Obviously, that goal won’t happen now. We are asking people to join the movement and be #BoldLikeBritt. #BoldLike Shirts can be purchased HERE. There is also a go-fund-me set up for her family HERE

Episode Forty-Six 3/6 & 3/13 7:49- This we speak to Luka Kinard an Anti-Vaping Youth Advocate! He started vaping at a very young age & it led to a 6-minute long grand mal seizure! Luka has since recovered and is dedicated to making sure other kids & teens don’t follow in his footsteps! Episode Forty-Five 2/27 10:26- This week we touch base with Darcy, the mother of a local woman named Courtney Weary facing serious medical struggles in our area & with an upcoming major surgery- some fundraisers have been arranged, specifically the Ghent Shop fundraiser on April 22nd, from 4 to 8 – it’s a hot hamburger plate sale- order HERE

Episode Forty-Four 2/20 6:02- We speak with Ava Bryant, Regional Vice President for the Boys and Girls Club over Carteret & Craven Counties!! BGC has announced La’Tecyia Johnson as their Youth of the Year & she’s received a $3k scholarship!
